Dangerous phrases can hurt your career

I recently came across this list of 5 phrases and wondered, "could these also hurt you if you mention or allude to them as your attitude when you're in work search?"

I've heard these types of comments from others before, and I've probably uttered them myself at one time or another.  But employers won't want to hear them, especially during the process of interviewing, even informational interviewing during networking.  They all imply a focus on self first, rigidity in thinking, inflexibility, or an unwillingness to learn to work with others.

Here are the 5:
I need a raise.
That can't be done.
We've tried that before.
I can't work with him or her.
That's not my job.
