“What’s My Story? Know Your Uniqueness,

Stand Out in the Crowd”

Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

(Note: later start time this month]

Today, more than ever, it’s critical that each of us "stand out in the crowd" to sustain an income through our work, knowing and owning our unique talents, enthusiasms, values and knowledge.  Being able to powerfully express who we are and what we have to offer a community and an employer is a person’s best chance of securing and holding on to enjoyable work and building community, accomplished best  through intentional, relationship-focused networking.

Being unemployed (or under employed or unhappily employed), especially experiencing prolonged unemployment saps a person’s strength, energy and hope.  Knowing what makes a person stand out enhances her chance of finding that new employment.

Our presenter is Mike Slaughter, Client Relations and Marketing expert with Paul Goebel Group here in Grand Rapids, and previously served as a member of the EaRN | Employment and Resource Network Board.

Join us Wednesday, March 22, by RSVP at in Comstock Park on 6-Mile Road between Alpine and US-131.
